Change Eurobonus Award Booked Partially with Expired Points?
I hope this isn't redundant, but I could only find threads regarding canceling award bookings made with now expired points. I booked a one way flight in Business from CPH-IAD for December about a month ago. 50k of the 60k points were about to expire. Since, it has become apparent I should return him the day prior, which is currently available for the same Eurobonus point value. Is this sort of change generally allowed, or would I stand to lose the 50,000 points to rebook for the day before? When I started the process online, it wasn't clear. If the change is allowed without penalty, would it permit changing from ARN to SPH to IAD (also shows available for the award)? I know, that would really be pushing my luck...
Thanks for any input!

I have seen points going back to my account and then out it again when flighnumbers/segments have been changed.

Also my experience that changes sees all points come back to the account, and then used again. So likely the expired points would be an issue.
