Whose baggage rules apply

If I have a Lufthansa booking that begins in Norway on an SAS flight, followed by two LH business class legs does SAS or LH baggage rules apply?

Long description here on Tripadvisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g...ine.Trips.html

The TL;DR is:
  • If your flight is not to or from the US or Canada, the baggage rules of the Most Significant Carrier apply - that is the carrier that operates the geographically longest or most significant stretch of the journey (most likely Lufthansa in your case)
  • If your origin or final destination is the US or Canada, the baggage rules of the first listed carrier generally apply (SAS in your case)

Check your ticket, that will clearly state the allowed allowance, which will be followed by SAS during checkin.

If you can't find the information on the ticket, use this site with your booking code to extract the data from your reservation: https://bags.amadeus.com/
