Thumbs down Earn double Basic points on flights between Hel-Arn-Osl-Cph

Not sure if its targeted or not, useless promo for but but some may benefit?

Earn twice the points on SAS flights this fall

Take advantage of the chance to earn double Basic points this fall – points that will help maintain your Gold status. You can now earn twice as many points on all SAS flights between Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.

Just sign up by October 8 for bookings made between October 2-8 for travel between October 9 and November 30, 2013.

Got the same. Have quite some trips planned for the next week's between those cities, so I'll appreciate it a lot. Also my qualifying period started yesterday

Don't need the points for qualification but it's yet another very disappointing promotion.

This should simply have applied to any travel and trips, not just on flights between their hubs.

Be aware that it only counts on any trips booked on 2-8 OCT, so if these were booked prior to that they do not count. You may want to do a rebooking of these if its possible/relevant.

Agree with severals. In general a very uninteresting offer which only has value for few. Book in a very short time period AND the offer is made public by the end of the first possible day AND travel period is also quite limited (though longer than the six day booking window) AND only for a very, very limitid routing.

I am sometimes confused at what SAS marketing is thingking with some of these promos... they are losing many members to A3 and TK and with some good marketing and decent promos I am sure they could entice some back... I was a long time EBS/EBG, well I still will be EBG till March and EBS tille 2015 buuuuuuuuuut I have stopped crediting any travel to SAS for various reasons... Mainly being there very bad customer service in EB...

I sure hope they do put more effort into marketing and redazzle us in their home markets, but after 10 years as a member I am not holding my breath. Either way I will still fly SAS when the price is right or the connection is better then TK ie to the west coast of the USA but its a far cry from years back that I loyally only flew SAS...

just my 2 cents worth

Anyone got these promo points posted yet? My normal points posted a while ago, but not the promo.
