SAS and Singapore with code-share
SAS will begin code-sharing on Singapore Airlines routes between BKK and SIN, in addition to the CPH-SIN route from December 1st.
On the other hand Singapore will code share with SAS on CPH-OSL/ARN/HEL

Great news! ^
That means you can fly SQ BKK-SIN part of a discounted SAS ticket Scandinavia-SIN.
Previously only TG have been allowed.
The problem with CPH-SIN though is that (I believe) the route is operated by rather old aircrafts.

it is possible to use CPH SIN operated by SQ as long as it is under SK code. In routings, transit points are not compulsory.

In most routing conditions I have looked at, if you are allowed to fly nonstop between the origin and the destination it usually says so.
I.e. in the routing condition for the STO-SIN fare is should also have said:
STO-CPH-(SK)-SIN or STO-CPH-(SK/SQ)-SIN
Anyway, just for fun I tried some dates on the SAS webpage, days of the week I know SQ fly CPH-SIN, and I was not given the option to fly SQ directly from CPH.

Are you sure about that?

Since the routing condition for all SAS fare to SIN now include SQ that should not be an issue (or at least I hope so).

Otherwise the whole thing is quite pointless.

But If you mean SK fares to Australia including SQ SIN-Australia, then the most of people won't buy it,
because,
* Adding more transfer point hence longer travel time, is not favorable for the most of passengers(except FT:ers)
* Additional transfer point means also higher total ticket price.

My two major destinations are Singapore and Melbourne and i'm EBG so for me the optimal combination would be a cheap SK Z fare with SIN stopover and then SQ A380 to MEL
