I can recommend AVR Parking. AVR stands for Airport Van Rentals, which seems to be their main business, but they will also park your car for you in their facility for $5.95/day (plus taxes). For short 1-2 day trips it's cheaper than a BART roundtrip to the airport from SF. There are two big downsides though:
1) Don't plan on picking up or dropping off your car between midnight and 6AM, because they are closed.
2) The price is so low because the free shuttle doesn't take you to the airport. It goes to the nearby rental car center and you then take the airtrain to the terminals. Same thing when coming back, so factor in a little extra time.

There is a coupon at the website for 4th day free after 3 paid days.

quickparksfo's web site says they charge $10/day for parking. Is anyone aware of coupons or discounts that would reduce it by a few bucks? A quick google search didn't reveal much...

I use ParkSFO. Their shuttle frequency had been pretty good when I used them. However, one time their check-out machine ate my credit card and caused 45 minutes delay getting out of there!

Just did my fifth stay in the last month at Burlingame Airport parking at $6.50 plus tax (overnight trip to JAX). Still happy there. Shuttles are every 20 minutes and reliable. The banner out front this last week has advertised $7.50 and $45 a week but they always seem to charge me $6.50.

no discounts as far as i can see ($11.00 all in per day with taxes) but they do have a frequent parking program where you get a free day after each 3rd stay. n.b. on your first stay, ask the person in the booth for the parking card where they will place your first sticker on it and then bring the card with you each time.

fyi, sma park has closed up shop. Their website may be up, but their lot is gated closed.

Updates, October 2010?

SMA Parking has closed, per various posts.
Goalie and others like Quikpark, which may have lowered prices recently to ~$8 a day.
Tom911 still likes Burlingame Airport Parking at $6.50 a day, although website and signs list a somewhat higher price ~$7.50 a day.

Also, do you have to make a reservation to get the best rate? Tom911 suggests not at BAP.

Any other updates?

I was at Burlingame Airport Parking about a month ago and it was up to $8 a day plus tax. I was there over one of the summer holiday weekends and their outdoor lot was full, but still spaces left under the Hilton Hotel.

Somehow I received 3 of their 7 day coupons :D . My car is currently having a luxurious vacation :) as I am currently on a 7 day trip. (If I am not delayed, about an hour shy of 7 full days.)

I have a 10-day trip coming up for Thanksgiving, and my BAP reservation was quoted at $10/day. Their cheaper rates end on November 19th, the day my trip starts. Ouch! Maybe their rates will drop after the holiday season.

For shorter stays, ParkSFO's free-day-plus-10%-off coupon is hard to beat, but the cheaper outdoor parking sometimes fills up. That's what happened to me last weekend. But when I balked at paying the higher indoor/garage rate, they found an outdoor space for me.

The ParkSFO shuttle runs more frequently and is faster than the BAP shuttle, and I can usually get to the terminal in 10-15 minutes. The BAP shuttle is shared with the Hilton AND the Crowne Plaza, and the last time I used BAP, it took me 35+ minutes (including 10 minutes waiting for the shuttle to depart) to get to the International Terminal. :td:

What time of day/day of week did you run across the full lot there?

I used Park SFO last week for an east coast mileage run. For the extra $4 it lets me avoid the long trip down to the BAP lot. Think I'm going to stick with that strategy right now for one day trips and only use BAP for multiday trips.

I reached the ParkSFO lot around 7pm on Friday, October 22, and a "FULL" sign was blocking the entrance to the outdoor lot. The last time this happened, I was short on time and could not go elsewhere. Ended up having to park on the top floor of the parking garage, effectively paying indoor rates for outdoor parking!

But I agree on your strategy; I think ParkSFO is better/faster, but for longer stays, I'll take the money in my pocket.
