San Francisco Christmas Eve 2017

Hello
Does anyone know if SFO San Francisco Airport will be busy 12-24-17?

Flying out around 11;30AM

In the past I heard the Christmas Eve was not busy, but I recently read an article that google did some research and predicted this year would be busy cause its on a Sunday?

My crystal ball says quite busy for the Intra-CA, West Coast, Shorter hops at that hour. Add a weather-type issue at a major hub somewhere, and you have the makings for a delightful and stress free X-mas eve

My best guess is that it will be because the holiday is on Monday, however I have a feeling that Friday night and Saturday will be busier. Christmas and New Year's on Mondays means it's very convenient fly out on the weekend before Christmas and return New Year's Day, and still keep a reasonable work schedule the week before and week after.

When you’re asking about busy, are you asking about what time to go to the airport? I would slightly guess that Friday, Friday night and Saturday might be a little more busy than Sunday late morning, but as others have said it’s hard to make any good predictions.
