If you were in T2, it was probably all organic and the same as city pricing.

I was in Terminal 3 for a United. SFO to LAX flight this morning. It was cancelled and I was rebooked 10 hours later and given a meal voucher. Subsequently, I rebooked myself on a Skywest flight at noon. I carried that voucher past innumerable fantastic-looking restaurants in terminals 3 and 1. Here I am in the Skywest terminal with three choices: ice cream, JambaJuice and Perry's. Live and learn. And let the voucher expire.

You cannot be serious. T-1 is mediocre with the exception of the usual coffee chains. T-3 (United) is not impressive - bad sushi, overpriced cafes and bakeries, bad chinese, but at least decent burritos if you have time to wait (very slow IME). And you have to hike all the way to gate 90 for Peets unless you grab some near Gate 73.

Cannot really comment on T-2 as I rarely fly AA or VS though I gather it's nice. So IMO the International terminal is the only one that has choices I like - good Mexican food (Andale) - tolerable sushi - and an okay deli.

Yes, I know, there are many other airports with bad choices, but some that are quite good like ORD, DEN and IAH.
