Best option for Dungeness Crab--maybe Sotto Mare?

DW loves Dungeness Crab. So to keep her happy I need ideas for a good rest. in The City. I've looked at numerous menus & not many feature Dun. Crab. Sotto Mare does. But, is it even available in early Sept.? We'll be staying in Nob Hill area but we can travel.

I've heard good things about the ciappino (sp) at Sotto Mare, but we're usually tied up at Golden Boy Pizza a door or two down Green. We just got back from a quick trip to SF, and the sand dabs and petrale sole at Tadich's was some of the best we've had in all our trips there. If you make it there, ask to be seated in Marion's section.

Thanks, we will. We're still juggling the choices on where to drop $100. Sam's doesn't rate as high on TA, Yelp or Chowhound but many people love it. With Dung. Crab out of season I'm not sure how much luck we'll have.

Another option is the deviled crab casserole at Tadich's. Plenty of crab, and quite a hardy meal.
