Amazing

How are we supposed to go to the parade at 11am? We have to work (well, most people do).

That's cuz the Giants gave the Padres, the Braves, the Phillies and then the Rangers the axe .

I made it to the parade to the intersection of Market and Montgomery. It was exciting to be there, but with every hand going up to take pics, the viewing was difficult. I did manage to see each of the team members.

I liked Kuip's speech: "The San Diego Padres, the Atlanta Braves, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Texas Rangers . . . are OUTTA HERE!"

It was an amazing run for our boys in the Black and Orange. I know I'm late to this thread but I don't care.

I took four separate trips to see the Giants this year and each one was a great time.

Flew from Phoenix for:
Saturday July 18: Win over New York Mets 8-4 in San Francisco
Saturday August 14: Win over San Diego Padres 3-2 (11 Innings) in San Francisco

Drove from Durham for:
Monday October 11: Win over Atlanta Braves 3-2, Giants win NLDS. 14 hours in the car total.

Flow from Durham for:
Wednesday October 27: Win over Texas Rangers 11-7. Cashed in 32,500 Delta miles the second they won the NLCS. Spent the game in the standing room only area for a mere $75. Amazing experience. A great year as a fan. Can't wait for 2011!

I was in Slough, just north of Heathrow, last week, and ran into a Bay Area resident proudly wearing his Lincecum t-shirt. Only one of those I saw in the U.K.

I jhave a lincecum tshirt I saw a kid wearing at the parade

I asked him where he got it and he said "FTC" (Like i would know what that is)

It's a skateboard shop with a store on Haight St, so I ran down the next day and bought one. It's got Tim's face wand a caption underneath
"FTC YEAH!"
I'd post a photo but can't find one.

(play on words on Tim's expletive when they won the pennant, caught on Fox)

When I was home visiting family for Thanksgiving, I discovered that my older brother has a new favorite possession: a Buster Posey bobblehead! (in Fresno Grizzlies mufti, of course):
