$10.00/month DSL from AT&T

AT&T (att.com) is offering $10 a month FastAccess DSL (a 768k connection) with a one-year term agreement. The only restrictions are that you have an att phone line and have never had internet connection with att or bellsouth. It works in North and South Carolina, at least, and seems to work throughout their local monopoly area. You just act as if you were going to sign up, and it should be an option (FastAccess DSL Lite with term agreement). I am using it right now, are downloading three files at 26, 28, and 39 kb/sec.

That sure would be hard getting used to. For $39.95 on cable, I just tested my connection and it is at 14,548 kb/s.
