Mypoints and ebay?

I'm thinking of signing up under mypoints for a new ebay account. I already have one and I buy a lot for my business from there (upwards of 1000/mo). I'm wondering if it is worth the hassle of starting a new account for the points(I don't care about my FB since I almost exclusively buy). Also I use auctionsniper and the popup for mypoints indicates that using an outside auction monitoring system negates the mypoints... but it doesn't mention an outside auction bidding system... I'm guessing that as long as I make an initial bid through mypoints and win the auction I should get the points?
Any thoughts?
Are there any other bonus/rebate or incentive programs that give a reward for ebay shopping?
Thanks for the feedback!!

You can earn mypoints even with your existing Ebay account. Just follow the link from Mypoints and log in into Ebay.
If there is a sign-up bonus, you may open a new account.
Other programs I know that reward Ebay shopping are British Airways Executive club and BMI Diamond club.
After Hilton rewards are gone, Mypoints are not useful to me.

Thanks for the info! I'll see if I can get it to let me log on with my existing account. I too originally signed up for the HH points but since I'm already in it I'll find something I can use it for - about 100 pts from a $50 Gap certificate so I'll stick with it a while longer.
