E-rewards to Borders Rewards

My girlfriend redeemed $15 in e-rewards for $15 in Borders Rewards. The transfer was electronic and instantaneous. Impressive. Of course, she's only received 2 emails from e-rewards this year, so she's a bit bummed by that. tls

Was it one $15 border's reward which needs to be used in one month or 3 $5 rewards which are good for one month each. Reason why I ask is that during the year e-rewards used to offer the $15 in $5 increments.. which was "ok" but around September through December they'd offer the $15 as a one month reward which could be used for the full $15. We prefer this option since there's not much $5 could go towards other than being a discount.

They changed it back to one $15 award. It can be redeemed once a year, and you can combine it with other coupons from Borders Rewards (i.e. 20 or 30 percent off a book).

I redeemed a $15 reward a few months ago (I think it was in April or May). It went onto my Bordersrewards account and I had one month to redeem it (as per bordersrewards program rules) I used a coupon in addition to it to get 30% off.

Did the same thing in February, using the 30% off to get a Sony eBook. SCORE!! The extra $15.00 off was icing.

It was one $15 reward, and is able to be used between 1 and 31 August.

Thanks for the tip on the 30% off; I will take a look for one of those coupons! tls

I should have added that I don't think the terms of the coupon actually allow it to be used on the Sony eBook, but when I asked, the cashier said sure, and took the 30% off. YMMV. Good luck!

Is it possible to use Border Rewards to make a purchase online? From checking the FAQ at borders.com it seems that it shouldn't be a problem. So, if I add $15 to my borders card, can I use the whole amount to make an online purchase?

I thought the T&C said you had to go to a store to use Borders Rewards, but I am not sure. tls

Well, does anyone here have any experience with using Border Rewards $$ at borders.com?
