Does not work in 2 stores in Tucker, GA
I took the coupon to 2 different McD stores this morning in Tucker, GA, hoping to score a free breakfast. Management at both store appear clueless about the promotion and declined to accept the coupon.

My wife and I took our diploma's to MCD's this morning.
My 1st McGriddle, and probably my last.....personal preference I am sure, it just tasted too sweet.
She likes them, might have to get her more training for another diploma or two.
The employee's had never seen one, but accepted it and were nice about it. Unlike the Monopoly game pieces where they are annoying about 1/2 the time.

Was the zip for Tucker, GA taken at the first place? Or did you use the Austin one to get your cert?

Finally got mine today, good "in the Greater Central Valley" which I take to mean everything between Bakersfield and Sacramento...
A warning: when I hit the "print" button, my computer froze up for about 2 minutes before the coupon finally spit out of my printer - then I couldn't print anything else until I rebooted my computer twice.

When you click on the "print coupon" link, you're taken to a page with just the diploma heading - then you wait and wait and wait until the coupon is magically printed. The coupon itself never does appear on your screen.

Is it possible you took it to one of the fake Mcdonalds'? I know there is one in Tucker on Lavista Rd, it has the McDonalds' arches but the name is nowhere on the business. They carry the same menu as McDonalds'.

I printed mine on Sat. and it took quite awhile. The fine print says "Austin, Tx area..." I took it to my local (83713 zip) McDs this AM and told them I had this funny coupon for a free McGriddle & they said they would take it!!!! Surprise!!! The sandwich was VERY small but OK. Tasted like french toast w/syrup & a sausage. Thanks to the OP.

Used Atlanta zip code
I used an Atlanta zip code, 30345, which is < 1 mile from the location of the McD...
I don't think you should blame them. The offer is "Available only in participating markets", according to the official rules. Not all McDs participate in this promo and that's why quite a few zip codes don't work.

Fake McD??
I'm surprised there are "fake McDonald's"... =p

O.K. I got the email. Said I could only print the coupon 1 time. It had something that looked like a diploma heading, but nothing stating what it was for, no actual coupon.
