Took long enough (3.5 months) but the backpack and thumb drive arrived. Thumb drive only 4GB, but hey it is free. The backpack is a promotional one Leeds puts out to vendors who then brand it with what-ever logo they desire. The specs

I've been texting in codes for years, mostly because it was the only method that didn't ask me to choose what type of drink it was after punching in a code.

for a period of at least months, I got a response that they were no longer taking codes via SMS (dunno if it was carrier-dependent; I have Sprint)Not just having to select the type of drink (does it really check though? I wouldn't swear to it but I think once I fat-fingered the wrong one but I don't remember if it mattered), but also having to login and occasionally dismissing the popups for Facebook and twitter and "Hey! It's more fun with friends"
plus if I was on my mobile phone getting the non-standard browser popup, etc. etc. 
So being able to send codes via text again is a big deal for me
