Yes, as someone without a Twitter or Instagram account, it would take a really good reward to make me go thru the hassle of joining.

There's a new gift card for $25 to the Gap, Old Navy or Banana Republic (and a couple other places) for 1750 points. It's not under What's New, but rather under Giftcards and Coupons. So I dunno, maybe it's not new, but I don't remember seeing it when I checked there recently. tls

There are a lot of unhappy people commenting on the MCR facebook page. They are decidedly unhappy about all of the social media crap they have to go through to access the December bonus rewards. I can't blame them.....

That means I won't be going for any of those rewards. Time to spend my remaining points and quit inputting codes.

Never say never. That being said... I never see myself jumping on the beta bandwagon. Through the years MCR has been incredibly rewarding to me, I estimate it's put at least $10K into my pocket (almost $2k on this past spring's Cedar Fair promo alone), but I'm not willing to play stupid social media Twatter BS games. I'm sticking with the traditional/legacy MCR site as excellent opportunities still occasionally pop up - just yesterday I did 3500 points worth of redemptions that should net me approx $250 - but if it goes away then so be it.

Took me about 20 min a day for 2 days to get my account up to gold. Now it's over and done with. Qualifying for the Best Buy, AMC, and Nike rewards for well below normal cost took about 2 minutes tops.

Go ahead and leave. There will be more for those who are persistent

The MCR folks made an interesting comment on the MCR Facebook page today: "There are currently no Silver Holiday rewards, however, as the program progresses Gold rewards will move into Silver/Bronze Catalogs as well. The final four Wishes will be added on 12/1. All Wishes will stay active until 1/5 or while supplies last. I hope this helps!"

They also noted that they won't be using the "12 days of Christmas" format this year.

It sounds like we may need to lower our expectations this year....

I think they set that bar when they did away with Wednesdays and lowered the weekly total to 100 :rolleyes:

Yes, it sounds as though they are going to release them in batches over the next two weeks for gold, and then let them trickle down through silver and bronze.

If correct, this may allow some hope for the regular MCR members who are uninterested/unwilling/unable to sign up for Beta. The entire Bronze rewards catalog is exactly the same as the rewards available on the regular MCR site.

I am not sure how you managed to turn my post into a quote from threedjmay, but FWIW I am quite willing to take ownership of my own inane comments. I don't want threedjmay to suffer any slings and arrows intended for me!

coke has a habit of being stupid and cutting their own throats with this program...I'm with the people that will never create a twit account or IM pics to get a $5 giftcard....they already have devalued MCR to a tenth of what it was when it started, now beta makes it even less rewarding....it's like original coke and new coke all over again, will they never learn?!?
