Limit on Hilton Award?

I cannot find any limits on the MCR website or the HH site on the number of Hilton awards one can redeem MCR points for like the limits imposed by Priority Club. Anyone else find anything that would limit someone from redeeming for more than one or two awards?

If there is no limit you can probably just keep ordering them. There are times that I will order 12 or more sparkling coupons at once. I just have to repeat the reward order

Looks slightly better for the smaller redemption - 500 HHonors points for 225 Coke rewards points. I don't see restrictions on the amount you can get - anyone know if you can get more than one?

IIRC, the PC points lower redemption option offered a slightly better deal as well.

I won't complain about HHonors points, as it's a great way to keep the account active without stays.

I emailed MCR regarding purchasing multiple HHonors rewards last week.

Today I got the following response -

Dear Goosebump,

Thank you for contacting MyCokeRewards.com. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

There is no limit on how many times you can redeem for those two particular rewards.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us again.

Sincerely,

Cameron

There you have it. If MCR gives anyone a hard time I can give you the reference number to this email.

When MCR first started, it was like 1200 points in which one had to have a stay and then one would receive 40,000 HHonors points, instantly. Does anyone remember when the program first started and this was the reward? There was also a Conrad bathrobe award too.

Anyone remember the very first Hilton awards with this program?

I remember it (40,000 HHonors points for 1200 MCR points) well. My husband & I used the points for a stay at the Conrad Mt. Juliet in Ireland. I just checked & it looks like it's no longer a Hilton property. But what a redemption!

40k for 1200 would be so nice.. Interesting reading in this thread from 2006:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/s-p-m...ds-points.html

To compare it to the current 500 HH redemption for 225 MCR, back then it was 500 HH for 30 MCR. People were bummed when it went up to 40 MCR. Are HH points worth 7.5x more now than they were in 2006? :)

The 1500 HH pts for 800 MCR redemption is silly, a far worse deal than 500 HH for 225.

Yup. Only a complete idiot would ever redeem 800 MCR points for 1,500 HH points. Especially when you can get the same 1,500 HH points for 675 MCR points. Duh. Is Coke trying to find out the percentage of idiots in the population? :D

I just found this thread and without slogging through millions of pages, I have a basic question. . .

I'm Hilton Honors Diamond, currently with about a half million points. I also have just over 3,000 Coke points. I don't know why I keep punching Coke codes into the computer, but I do. Every time I look at the awards list, I see nothing but things for kids and/or cheesy junk, with the possible exception of the restaurant awards.

Since I don't need any more baseball caps or t-shirts, and since my 3,000 points wouldn't amount to a hill of beans if added to my HHonors account, is there anything practical that grownups can do with Coke points, or is it just aimed at sending trinkets and trash to kids?

Use them for the free 12 packs and free 20-oz bottles of coke products/dansai. If you travel a lot, keep a couple of the coupons for free 20 oz bottles with you and they are great for water and soda if you are travelling and thirsty. Or if you have family at home that drinks coke products the 12 packs are a good deal, especially if you can get them on sale and Kroger is always sending me $2 off coupons for $2 off $10 or more in softdrink purchases.

Use the word sparkling to find the coupons.

This week, 12-packs of Coke products are on sale at CVS for $2.67 per 12-pack (3 for $8).
