Probably a glitch with their system, although if they are 12 digit codes, it could be that they've transitioned those out of their system, since they've moved to 14 digit codes. That said, send an email to them, explaining the issue you are experiencing.

I'll contact them....I looked it again and it says:

Sorry!

Promotion over - Code no longer active.

* Codes are 12 or 14 characters and aren't case sensitive
* No spaces are required
* If it looks like an "O," it's actually a zero

If you continue to have trouble entering codes, try them here.

I tried the link....still no go

I had the same problem last night with some (all?) of my 12-digit codes & none of my 14-digit codes. I also have an envelope of 8 codes from about a year ago which were bad even then. I would like to mail all these in so MCR can see them, but the rep. will probably ask me to read the codes over the phone & credit me on the spot.

14 digit codes began to work today...but rejecting 12 digit so far

Not the best MCR deal that I've seen but this just became available:
$5 Best Buy® reward certificate (250 Reward Zone® points) for 200 MCR points, click here for complete info.

It's the same dollar/point ratio as the current Nike gift cards, and unfortunately twice the value they were on Nov 1 when they sold out in a few hours. One of the other problems is that these are Reward Zone points, which means that any reward certificate issued will expire 90 (or 180, depending on your status) days from issuance, per the Rewards Zone T&Cs.

I suppose I'd still consider redeeming for these, but maybe I'll just wait until next Black Friday when things again go on sale for half price... I hope.

I've tried to text two different 12 digit codes to MCR and got the message back "Sorry, we are unable to validate ur code right now, please try again later". I'll try tomorrow.

Yanxfann, thanx for the info on Best Buy! I remember when MCR boasted of its half-price holiday deals such as $25 GCs for 500 points. So now Christmas is over & $25 GCs cost 1000 points again! Which is =ly good as the PC points if one values 2K PC as $15.75--$16 as I do.
2steps, the program is for US residents only. It's easy to falsely check YES to the ?? on the enrollment page & use the address of a US hotel. The hard part is traveling to the USA to get the Coke caps & boxtops :D !

NEWS FLASH! LiveNation codes for $10 discount on concerts are back @100 points each. This batch expires May 31/ 2011!
Caution: I got stuck with a few of these in 2009 because they were valid at only some, not all, LiveNation concerts :td: !

This may be of interest to some here.
MCR has American Airlines Admirals Club Lounge One Day Pass for 750 points.

Does anyone know if you have to be flying on a AA ticket to use the pass?
I was thinking this may a good use, for international destinations that have showers such as NRT.

if you look at the T&C in the link you provided you can see you need a same day AA ticket and it's only good for 1 person at the AA lounge (not any partners lounge) and not at some lounges if they're at your final destination.
Not a bad deal for a long layover if they have the AA club

Brendan Jan 7, 2011 1:10 pm

The glitch has been fixed! I just entered several 12-digit 12-pack codes successfully which had been rejected as described by SJS58.
Oh-so-thank-U Jrm68 re: AA club pass.

Wow, they are not going to last long. With 120 points/week restriction it makes very little sense to me to start entering codes hoping to grab one after 7 weeks though :(
