If you or someone that you know is into gaming MCR is now offering a one video game rental at Blockbuster - normally approx $9 or so if you pay out of your pocket - for only 80 MCR points. That's an absolutely great value in my opinion, far better than 160 MCR points for 500 Priority Club points that can otherwise be bought directly from PC via the cash&points reserve/cancel trick for the equivalent of only $3 per 500 PC points.

I have a bit of an uneasy feeling that when they changed the rules and eliminated all redemption restrictions that they intended to blow out all of the remaining inventory. There was a disclaimer listed that quantities were limited.

I hope they restock but I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to cash in on the 500 point rewards as quickly as I punch in my Coke codes. If I'm wrong, the difference in redemption ratios is so small that it doesn't really matter.

Just picked up 3. If you fly SW, this is the best deal MCR has had in a long time. You can buy 5 12-packs (and 50 MCR points) for as little as $12.50 (or even $10) on sale. Not a bad price for a $20 discount (and 60 cans of coke).

Took a quick look through some posts on this thread,...so,...

Silly question, but is there any reason to save the caps and carton flaps once the codes have been entered? Since I just started with Coke Rewards, I'm not sure if future contest pop up where you need to re-enter codes or if you can qualify again with old codes.

I'm sure the answer is "no", but thought I would ask before tossing them out.

Jack, history in the program tells us that once a code has been used it is dead and will not be used again.

Jack, it is written in the T&Cs that we must save the caps & carton ends for 90 days after entering the codes in case of audit or problems with the system, but most of us including me laugh & exclaim, Yeah, right! to that!

Free Bottle of Coke
 

I'm a casual soda drink, so I don't collect many points. Is the free bottle of Coke a good deal? I don't see anything other than PC points that seem interesting.

It's entirely a personal value judgement, isn't it? If you don't find any other prizes interesting, then that makes the prizes you do find interesting that much more valuable in comparison. Also, consider the objective math: a free bottle coupon is 24 points, i.e. 8 caps. If your caps primarily come from 20oz. bottles, then you are getting a "buy 8, get 1 free" deal or effectively an 11.11% "savings" on your purchase of 9 bottles. If your caps come from larger bottles, this number may change depending on the price you pay, but the idea is the same.

So, is that worth it to you? Nobody here can really answer that for you. Personally, I don't redeem for PC points or free soda... in fact, I haven't found anything worthy of redemption in a long, long time, so I'm just sitting on points right now.

i toss them the moment they are accepted into the system; do I care about an audit NO.. my points are spent that same day of input usually or at most wait a week to get enough in the system to redeem

Wish I could find something to do with all those old lids besides recycle them.

There was a man in the next town over who built cute dollhouse size buildings out of them, so when I was in his neighborhood I stopped to offer them. He said that the market was down for his buildings, so he had stopped making them. He suggested a vacation bible school might like them for crafts. Hate to hold onto them until summertime.
