Thumbs down Freeride.com is a Bust!

I had been in the "new" Freeride.com for the last few years. when I requested Walmart gift cards or Amazon certificates I did not have any problems. I ordered 3 $50 Walmart cards around the beginning of September with the points I earned. Instead of sending me the three cards, they sent me 3 Ecount virtual visa cards. I sent emails pointing out this problem - no response. Well I tried to use the card and guess what happened: right, they would not work. Last week I sent an email and also did it through their "contact us." The site promises a reply in five business days. Today is the fifth business day. It has been more than THREE MONTHS since I placed my order.

Is there an FTC or NY State Attorney General's address I can put some pressure on this outfit?

In the meantime I advise everyone who has been using Freeride.com to STOP AND CASH OUT. Maybe someone will collect what is due them.

Wow, I have fond memories of Freeride from days as a broke college student. Thanks for the flashback.

I'll second that .... I haven't been to freeride.com in many years .... I didn't even know they were still in business .... well, according to this maybe they aren't!

Ditto - I didn't know that they still existed. I received many free DVDs via Freeride's cdnow gift certificates. I even had a freeride credit card.

Has anyone used them recently? I know memolink had issues several years ago, but corrected them. Has that perhaps happened with freeride too?

Going even farther back in the wayback machine, any else remember Planetall.com? Ahhh.... the good old days when they promptly gave you 100 airline miles for every free referral!

I did some shopping on them, and clicked the cabs, enuff for 2 Home Depot Gift Cards. They both came, and I spent them OK. Sure not as good as the original Freeride.
