I look at WOOT every day, even purchased a couple of items, good service and what they advertised. Look for Woot tuesdays, they seem to double the offer. Also there is now a wine.woot.com, some good buys on wine, but I have not tried them yet.

I too check Woot every day. Woot can have some great bargains, but some real dogs. You need to know your merchandise. There are closeouts, OEM and mystery objects. I purchased a "mystery" five piece speaker set for $29 that turned out to be a Dell 5.1 surround set. ^ Look for the BOC (Bride of Chucky, Bag o' Cr@p, etc) that is a bunch of leftovers for $1. They usually go in about 30 seconds.

Happy Wooting!

Talking and to keep it interesting: WOOT OFF

Unannounced they will have a WOOT OFF, where as soon as an item is sold it is replaced by another. Look for the flashing orange lights! Items are lower than originally offered.

Lately the WOOT OFF lasted 48 hours I think.

Every Tuesday is Twofer Tuesday. Two items for the price of one.

Shipping is $5 total. You can buy up to three of the same item and shipping is still only $5 total!!!

Forget about the Bag of Crap. Unless you are sitting with all the forms filled out with a T1 connection you don't stand a chance. 30 seconds is being generous

I've bought six or eight things and they are always as described. And Woot is brootal with their descriptions.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

You can have your information pre-entered, and it doesn't take long at all. I was sitting at my computer at 10pm (Pacific). Refreshed, saw it was a BOC, hit buy, got the confirmation screen. When I confirmed, I got a message that I was too late.

This is awfully close to an ad for Woot - lets try and stay away from these types of posts. I am closing this thread.
