does anyone know about gratis internet? are they safe to use?

i recnetly got an offer for a free ipod and a free laptop in my mailbox. normally i dismiss such offers but this time i dun. they are targetted towards aussie residents. The one for the laptop involved signing up either an ANZ credit card or signing up for a AUD1.00 offer? But have to refer 20 people. i tried searching on flyertalk but nothing relevant came up.

could someone be kind enough to direct me to the desired information. What i wish to know is whetehr it is safe to give me credit card info to them and whether gratis internet really honours what they promise?

I actually have received an ipod and a shuffle from gratis (now known as freepay). I have also received $375 total from another similar website. It's alot of work because you have to convince people to sign up for you. But if you go to anything4free.com. It's a forum that you can trade sites with each other. (that's how I got mine done eventually). It's mainly on sites for the US but I'm sure there are some aussies in there willing to help you out. Good luck!
