That is a fantasy of mine. I'm waiting for the day my work starts sending out $1000 a month in flowers and they put me in charge of ordering them (Yeah I know, I'm in La La Land but it's my fantasy, allright?) So with 30 miles per dollar through UA that's 30,000 miles a month in my account! Sigh, oh well back to reality.

Pretty much all I do for MyPoints is click on emails for 5 points each and funnel an occasional Office Depot order for work through there. That gets me enough points to make it worthwhile, yeah.

Make sure you've checked off all the preferences to get enough emails. I've been getting a few per day. I think you can get around 4000 points a year just by clicking those. The real trick is remembering to funnel other purchases you make anyway through the system. Apart from Office Depot, I tend to forget to check such things before making an online purchase. Someday I'll get that habit fixed for a slight boost in points/miles.

They at least used to offer a software program that monitored the sites you were using, and popped up with a "Shop through MyPoints" message on Mypoints partner sites.
