E-reward surveys: time to post

Has anyone noticed that sometimes when you do an e-rewards surveys the points post immediately and other times it takes a while (if ever) for them to post. When I complete a survey, it always says it will take 7-10 business days to post. However, recently most of the points have been posting immediately, notwithstanding that message. This is a huge improvement. Otoh, if the points don't post, I'd say that over half the time I never see them, and I do so many e-rewards surveys I just can't keep track of them. (It isn't worth it, since I'll max out on the awards I'm interested in anyway.) Why the difference? Do some companies want to see if your answers are legit before crediting points? tlx

If you had started this thread a day earlier, I would have told you that every time that I've done a survey, the points have posted immediately. I probably only avg. about 3-4/month but that had been my experience. Until today... just did one about 2 or 3 hours ago and went to check on my $6 -- its not there And I agree, it ain't worth tracking them down..

I have actually noticed the same trend, and was reminded of that after taking a survey a few minutes ago... the points do seem to be posting immediately, which is pretty cool. Some of the larger value ones, which seem to usually take place off of e-Rewards, do tend to take longer.

I only go after e-Rewards surveys that are worth more than $5, and those I go after viligantly.

I also noticed that most of my $3 or $5 (or other) surveys post before I can click back to the main offer screen. ^ Only a (very) few do not post immediately. But I have seen some $7 or $10 rewards post "out of the blue".

No, if they don't post immediately, I usually don't track them. But you never know which ones do, and which ones don't, until your done. Most times, I "don't qualify" for the survey and only get the "partial reward" of $1 usually - which usually posts immediately! ^

Yes, it was that $6 survey which made me start this thread; darn thing took forever to complete, and then to not see the points post was frustrating. So any ideas on why some post immediately and why others don't? Somone mentioned the ones with the larger amounts tend to be the ones that don't post immediately. Can't say I've noticed any connection like that, but it's possible. I was wondering if someone was checking to see that your answers were legit, and if they weren't then perhaps you wouldn't get credit. Pure speculation on my part. tls

I too have been getting some that take a while to post, but I"ve also gotten some that are 45 minutes long. There is no way I'm going to waste my time on something that long, that may or may not post.

After getting offers almost everyday, I am not getting many offers now. Actually I haven't received any in almost 2 weeks. I wonder what happened?

If you are missing e-Rewards after the advertised 7-10 business days, just send an email to [email protected] and let them know. Include the invitation email if you have it, or at least the survey name. Every time my points didn't post within the advertised time, I emailed them and they've posted them within 24-48 hours, no arguments. There's no runaround so it's definitely worth trying.

I'll echo cepheid's advice. I have a PDA, and when I complete a survey I write a note in the datebook for 10 days later. When that date comes I check my account statement to make sure it has posted. If it hasn't I send a message to their customer service with the link to the survey and a request that they post the $. They usually post it within a day or 2. So that's worked out very well for me.

I do track the surveys - I just save the email invitaions and delete them as the survey credits post. In my experience, if the survey doesn't post immediately, it can take sometimes a month or so to post. So I don't usually inquire about missing credits which are less than a month old.

Are you close to a redemption milestone (eg. $50 or $100) ? That's happened to me before, emails slowed down to nearly zilch right when I almost had enought to redeem. Eventually got enough to redeem & the emails started coming more frequently.

WOW! I just emailed [email protected] hoping to get a couple missing surveys posted in the next couple of days... and the posted within 45 minutes! Someone there is really paying attention. Quick and easy. Thanks!

Well, whenever I think I have e-rewards figured out, they confound me. In the last couple of weeks I've received a handful of e-$ within the 7-10 business day period, after figuring I'd never see them. tls

I've had that happen, too. Dwindled to zero in December and January and I figured it was the holidays. Yesterday I got a $5 survey and I've had a handful of shorter surveys in the last couple of weeks.

Good for you! In my case, I think nobody there is really paying attention - it is anything but quick and easy. I've e-mailed e-rewards multiple times after 10 business days have passed to get a credit, and NOTHING. No acknowledgement, no response, no credit, just a complete waste of my time.
