MyPoints new Visa

MyPoints has announced its new Visa card, issued by Providian bank. No annual fee, 1000 point signup bonus..... Pretty standard in many ways. Doesn't seem to offer insurance etc. Providian doesn't issue any other airline, hotel, points cards. Interest rates look a little high.

I have added the card to my US credit card comparison table

For those who may have had the earlier Citicorp Mypoints Credit Card that was discontinued earlier this year, you should be receiving an email from Mypoints offering an additional 1500 points for usage within 1 year.

the rebate/rewards structure is not even close to 1%; there are so many other credit cards out there that give you better yields.

The new card gives you a better chance to earn, since it's a point for every dollar. I had the Citi card, but I like the earning potential on this one much better.
