MyPoints money?
Was checking my account this a.m. and went to my account statement section and verified that several of the emails from yesterday had posted correctly but also noticed there was a seperate column which is titled $ Amount and it had $1 beside the offer I completed for signing up for the Trip Advisor newsletter. Anyone know what this dollar means? Is it a dollar at that merchant? Or is it some new bonus MyPoints currency? I did read through all the FAQ's but didn't see it mentioned. Anyone else notice this since the new website has been up & running?

I've seen the $ Amount column contain information when I've purchased something, but that's the only time. Was the offer a free trial of something, or one where they charged your credit card $1 for a set amount?
