e-rewards redemption

So I've read that you can only redeem once a month. But I can't find anything about whether the FLIGHTS have to be at least once a month...

My question: If I redeem a 1000mi award in Aug, and a 2,500mi award in Sept.... but I fly twice in Oct, would I get those award miles? Or just the 1000mi? Or even both on the first leg?

I have not experience with e-rewards redemptions, so any help is appreciated!

Hope this answers your question, from experience I've found that you can redeem from e-rewards every 30 days, as long as the AA flights fall within the "time window" there will not be a problem. In the past I've redeemed three times from e-rewards, for a MR trip booked in advance (3 seperate tix w/in 2 days) and have all rewards honored.

E-Rewards is generally discussed in the S.P.A.M. forum, I'll move this thread there.

Wow... I think I just saw the record in shortest time posting. Completed a $10 survey, ended with the standard "will post in 7-10 business days," and I come back after 2 hours and it's posted! Woot.

so you can buy ticket before redeeming award, correct - with the redemption setting off the time window?

I have had surveys for (like) $!, $2, $5 - after the survey is completed, it says the standard "7-10 days". However, I went to my acccount - and it was ALREADY POSTED! That was only SECONDS later!

Some post right away. Some post in the time frame that they say. Many other times you have to pepper them with emails to get them to move.

I just completed a $12 survey, with the standard "will post in 7-10 days" statement. Before I could even sign on to "my account", the $12 reward had posted!

I've only ever had an issue with rewards posting once, and that one was resolved very quickly, only with one email. However, make sure you save all survey invitations, in case it doesn't post.
