As a side note, i used to wear gas perm's for many years due to astigmatism. I switched to disposable soft torics 3 years ago and am amazed at how much more comfortable they are. Next time you get a new perscription I recomend you get your doc to order you a free sample pair (whatever brand he recomends) if you haven't already tried them.

Thanks for the suggestion but I did try going to the disposable soft 2-3 years ago (he gave me 2 pair) -- but I really diliked them and came running back to my gas perm's. I'm sure I'll try them again in the future, but for now I'm content with the gas perm's and they're comfortable for me (still wearing 12-14 hours/day). Thanks again for the rec though!
