Looks like they ran a batch. My 2500 AA miles posted today for a 5/28 flight.

Mine posted too. I'm about to book another flight and was debating about whether it's worth it to redeem another $50 erewards. Luckily, I don't have to make the decision because my flights will be before July 1 and the reward specifically states flights have to be between July 1 - Sept 30. Does anyone know if those dates are going to change on July 1 to be a month later?

The change seems to happen sometime after the 20th or so of the preceding month. So, yes, every month they change to the next month, but it happens before that month. I believe a reward redeemed on July 1 will show a validation period of Aug-Oct.

Is the initial 1000 mile award for signing up a "bonus" or an actual award (which means the next flight will earn 1000 miles and an earned award can't be stacked on top of it)?

Same here. Miles posted over the weekend for a 5/7 flight.
