I too have been waiting for my 2500 miles to post since May 6. I logged a ticket with their customer support and got no response. So I did some investigating and found their phone number. I called them, and spoke with the rep (I think there's only one) and she said they'd call me back the next day. They didn't, so I'm going to call back later today. I'll keep you updated. PM me if you want the phone #.

Please tell her we are all waiting.

The last time, after numerous e-mails to e-rewards, to which I never got a real answer, and after 3 mos., I e-mailed Aadvantage Customer service. The miles posted the next day.

Exactly my sentiments, as I wait and wait for the miles to post. More trouble than it's worth...No way I'm filling out more of their surveys, even though they send me 2 or 3 per day...!

I am still waiting for 2500 miles from May 4 flights.
They said to wait 6 weeks, but it has never taken anything close to this long.
It makes me wonder if I should continue to do the surveys.

Correction, I just doublechecked. It was May 7, so it will be 6 weeks tomorrow.

I need to wait until Tuesday. No, it has never taken this long.

My guess is that something went awry around the first part of May.

There's another possibility that they some how under-purchased their rewards for the month of May I guess. Last year, they found themselves with too many awards and ran a promo - redeem $25 award and get $5 back instantly. Anything is possible, and I don't consider these people to be too friendly from a customer service perspective.

I am confused? In order to use E-Rewards w/AA you must 1st BUY a ticket? Yes?
I have ONLY been using them for Hhonors rewards and mine also post w/in 12 hours.

Not exactly.
You must FLY a ticket bought on AA.com, within a period specified when you redeem ( the " current period" can been seen when you start the redemption process).
That period which lasts for the 3 months usually commences about 2 to 4 weeks after the date of redemption.
The aa.com purchase can be made at anytime.

Would a free (AAdvantage Award) ticket booked on aa.com qualify?

No must be a paid ticket.

Intersting.. My E-Rewards AA miles for my May 7 and my June 11 trips both just posted for 2500 miles each.

I had problems getting e-rewards to post once on a complicated itin; the routing was: MEL-AUS/AUS-NCE/NCE-AUS/AUS-AKL. I had already flown the MEL-AUS segments (got online booking bonus), but e-rewards never posted for the AUS-NCE-AUS portions.

5 weeks later....

My May 13 flight e-rewards 2500 miles posted this weekend.

I had sent an e-mail to e-rewards customer service last weekend, but never received a response so I have no idea whether the e-mail helped to get the miles posted or not......

Can you clarify what you mean?
Are you saying that the MEL-AUS segment and the other segments were from different months? Or... that you had an e-reward award wasn't valid until your trip had already started? How many e-rewards were you expecting? Generally E-Reward mileage is for the first flight of the first month of the three month period for the 1000 or 2500 mile reward.
