Do Ebates "big fat checks" actually arrive?
Hi - I am sure this has been discussed previously, but I could not find the discussion using Search.
I have a whopping $41 in my "Big Fat Check" account at ebates. The site says that the next round of checks are to be mailed 5/15. Do the checks actually arrive? Do the checks bounce?
I am curious to see if I am actually going to get a check.
Thansk,
Mikey

It did come through for me!
I did receive my ebate check a while back.
However, I recalled they only calcualte your earnings on a quarterly basis, which means if you did earn enough for a check by March 31 this year, your check should be in the next round of mailing.

Yes. They are mailed on or around the 15th of February, May, August, and November. Each check is for the three month period ending ~45 days before the check mailing date. I get them every time.

Yes, they arrive and I've used them for years. Ebates is, IMHO, the best of the online rebate click-thru sites around. They have an extensive vendor list and good rebate rates. Ebates is very reliable about proper rebate crediting in my experience.

I too have been with Ebates for years and never had a problem. However, that is not the case with Bonus Tree which failed to deliver on about $60 of rebates for me and never answered any of my correspondence.

Another ^ on Ebates, use them all the time and they've always been reliable and quick, you should expect to see your check within a week of May 15th, that's been my experience as of late (I seem to recall they may have been a little slower previously, but always still reliable, but now they come really quickly after the stated check print date).

I just looked at my rebate dates, and most of them are from April. I dis not make the $5 minimum for the 5/15/check. So I guess my first check will come in August.
Thanks for the info - I'll keep using ebates for purchases (unless I can get a cheaper price elsewhere). I used ebates for Priceline bids, and that is great. Not only do you get a decent price for a hotel through priceline, but you also get a 3% rebate. What a deal! I should have been using ebates all along.

If it's Priceline you're using, have you considered anythingpoints? Depending on if you use Paypal (or Asia Miles) and the star level you bid for, that may be the largest incentive.

Thanks for the tip, but I do not use Asia Miles. And the 1 cent to 1 point ration for paypal is not a very good return. Ebates gives me a full 3% rebate - and I just booked 20 room nights for a group trip coming up, so I got a pretty good rebate. That's my "pay" for making all the travel arrangements.

Depending on Star level and if you booked them individuallly, yoy could have gotten $300 in Paypal for those 20 nights - probably more than 3%.

I have been using ebates for a few years now and they have been reliable. Also, the few times when I've inquired about missing credits, their customer service has always been good about resolving the problems.
