Mypoints Changes
Here is an e-mail I received, because I have the Citi MyPoints card:
Dear photog72:
On behalf of MyPoints I’d like to thank you for your loyalty to our rewards program. We truly value your membership with us. I am writing to you today to share some important information about your Citi® MyPoints® Rewards Card.
MyPoints and Citibank have decided to end the Citi MyPoints Rewards Card Program. You will also be receiving a letter through the mail from Citibank shortly.
What will happen to my Citi MyPoints Rewards Card account?
The Citi MyPoints Rewards Card Program will end effective April 15, 2005. If you currently have an open Citi MyPoints Rewards account, it will automatically close on April 15, 2005.
You will earn Points for purchases up to April 14 or the date you voluntarily close your account.
Payments should continue to be sent until your balance is paid in full*.
Points for your final purchases will be received within 6-8 weeks of the last qualifying purchase date.
Your MyPoints membership will remain unchanged and you can continue to earn Points in the MyPoints program the way you always have.
Will MyPoints offer another rewards credit card?
Yes. MyPoints is currently working with a new credit card partner who will offer you even more Points for your dollars spent. The new card is coming soon with an exclusive offer just for you, our most valued member.
100 Points for applying
1,400 Bonus Points for receiving the card
Plus First Purchase Points associated with this new card
We appreciate your loyalty to the MyPoints program. Click Here to receive 5 Points and to reserve your invitation to apply for this special offer. We'll email this to you in advance of the new card launch. This 5 Point offer expires March 18th.
Sincerely,
David Rosen

I'd cash out your mypoints soon...this isn't a good sign that they can't find a credit card to work with. Everyone and their brother can get an affinity card these days, but apparently mypoints doesn't want to or can't afford to pay.
