Question E-Rewards Dilema

I currently have about 75 Dollars in E-Rewards I have been invited to partcipate in a online chat session tonight for an additional $100 in E-Rewards Dollars, I also get about $10 in surveys a week on average, not to mention the normal e-rewards offers. My problem is spending all these "rewards" the Hilton offer is the only one that is really worthwhile to me, I don't fly enough nor do I fly AA, and I don't even really rent movies. What I am asking is if you were in my shoes would you spend an hour and a half tonight talking about "Business Technology"? Do you think that E-Rewards will offer better redemption options in the future?I'm not too worried about my dollars expiring because I am what they consider an elite member, so they roll them over for me usually.

I use E-rewards only for Hilton. They have been sending me quite a few high dollar offers, and I find myself with over $130 after redeeming for $25 FTD certificate. I can redeem for HH again this month, and still, I'm stuck with too many points.

So, unless you think you're going to be ordering flowers, I wouldn't waste my time getting another $100.

I did trade someone the blockbuster certificate here in CC once.

Does anyone know if we can get more than one $25 FTD cert a year?

Funny -- my E-rewards Blockbuster certs are specifically non-transferable.

Aww...I'm jealous. I get only about $4 total in e-rewards a week (around one email a day, if that).
But if you're not going to spend your reward, why waste your time?

I'm in the exact same predicament - I have ~$100 in e-rewards and they just offered me $100 more (sounds like we're in the same focus group). All my flights are currently on HP due to the client negotiated rate, and I'm busy enough as it is. As compelling as an extra $100 in e-rewards is, I don't usually do Blockbuster as I find Netflix to work better for my needs. At this juncture I think I'll play it by ear and if I'm not too tired I'll give it a good - one can always bail if something better comes up!

Very cheap participation

I too was invited but declined. I only redeem HH points so $100 is 6000 pts (over two redemptions) redeemable for 20% of a 30000 points per night hotel say around $40. That is not enough for 90 minutes of my time. I am paid at least $100 for particpation in IT specific surveys lasting 30 minutes.

I was also "selected" and declined. I have been getting some really high offers lately ($50-$100), but they involve phone surveys/on-line chats. If it takes longer then five minutes or involves being contacted/interacting with others, than it is not worth it. Add me to the list of those that only redeem for the blockbuster award and the Hilton points.

The person I traded them with said that her local BB accepted any coupon. She had done it before.

Wasn't that bad. I read FT on my main system and had the FG up on my laptop. Ran exactly 90min.

I normally go for the 3000 Hilton Points, but I've currently got $75 in my account and I can't spend it fast enough on the Hilton points, as it only allows a withdrawl every three months. They have that new electronics store--anyone try that yet?

I just tried to redeem for another $25 FTD certificate after searching for the T&C on their website & not finding the information.

No go - it's once per year only.

Another "offer" that ends up not being worth very much. It seems the only rewards that you can redeem are the most useless ones - such as e-bags & Hertz.

Anyway, I'm at $75 after redeeming for HH this week and FTD last month, I'm not going to answer any more surveys until I can redeem for something worthwhile again.

What are your profiles that you're getting so many e-reward opportunities? I get about 2 emails a month, both for about 50 cents. I'd love to have your problems. tls
