I also think that we only hear from the people who have had bad experiences with E-rewards. I've had nothing but good experiences with having my miles post, and have redeemed for quite a few rewards. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

No problems either but one annoyance
I agree, there might be a reporting bias. I've gotten the 1,000 and 2,500 mile awards without a problem.
My major annoyance is that, at the time of redeeming, one must fly on AA within a 90-day window. Somtimes I would want to fly before the window, other times a particular itinerary is part in, part of the timeframe.

Agree that those of us who've experienced problems are most likely to be more passionate about posting our experiences. But the OP should be aware that problems with miles being credited are occuring; and if you're bending the rules, it's likely you'll be out of luck if the automatic posting doesn't happen.

That is permitted under the rules. The only requirement is that at least one of the segments of your itinerary must be within the 90 day period given when a reward is redeemed.

I vaguely remember a once in 90 days restriction of claiming the American award in erewards. I can't find it now. If I have 3 flights coming up can I redeem this award 3 times if I have the eR$?

, but the first time I tried it wife's points were about expire so we figured it she had nothing to lose. Worked twice more without any problems.mike
