in order to try and keep this thread as informative as possible, what do you all say that ALL that gets posted is when someone actuallys find him and Posts where and when that was. So if X posts today I found Max in--- at ---, thats it! no thanks or I got him at-- still there, otherwise this thread will be nuts and very long for no reason.
and whats with'did anyone find him?well if they did and didnt say so why do you think by asking they will post it. Maybe its me but it seems that if anyone found him they will post about it, and as long his location didnt change no reason to still post he is still there.
Sorry if I offended anyone it wasnt my purpose to, nor do I have anyone person in mind,so its not an attack on anyone in particular, so please do not take it as an attack on yourself- its Not.

Well I certainly think that if someone went through the entire site and didn't find him on a particular day that is useful information that will save a lot of other people a lot of time.

Fine. Start an "I didn't find Max" or a "Let's discuss whether we found Max" thread.

I agree entirely with craz. I get emailed by FT when there are new posts on this thread. I check this thread immediately when I get one of those emails, for the obvious reason. Checking it to find someone has just posted "I got him" or "I didn't find him" is just an utter waste of time.

I agree that someone posting that they got points when it has already been announced that someone found max is not useful in my opinion. I would however like to know if someone went through the site and didn't find max, that way I don't do the same thing and reinvent the wheel. If one person says it I don't think that adds much to the thread at all as it would only be one person. Yeah I debated whether to add to the thread knowing that it emails some of you...sorry.

Let me get this straight: people are whining because they want to only get the location of Max emailed directly to them, but not emails when Max isn't there (or when people post so others know whether he's gone or not)? So, evidently you only want to know when and where to find him, but don't plan to look for him, or you'd want to know when someone else already has looked and he's not there. Truly charming. Look, you have a choice:
1) Stop getting the updates emailed to you and check the board once per day.
2) Start a separate "only post here if you found him so you can hand me mypoints and I won't be bothered with an extra email" forum. Good luck with that one--the whiners will probably also complain then that there are too many threads.
3) I checked mypoints today. But, since I have already -- God forbid -- disturbed those who want strictly locations and point amounts, I won't bother posting that I didn't find him.

i will concur that if someone went thru the site and didnt find him that "1" post to alert everyone is OK. But you must agree that we dont need a dz posts saying I didnt find him either. So it still will mean just 1 post per day, it will say either "Ifound him" or 'Looked everywhere hes NOT to be found today'. It still will cut down on all the needless posts, IMHO

Ok, so for today, Friday Dec 3rd, I checked the entire site - no MAX.

I guess he's not showing this week?

Does anyone remember if this was only a "November" deal with Max? Either that or he showed up in the middle of the night and left before the afternoon when most of us would be checking. He could still show tonight is my guess.

He's in Food/Restaurants at 11:30 AM Central today. He's worth 5 points.
