Promo code ineligible restaurants
Just noticed today that several restaurants are listed in the southeastern Wisconsin listings with the notation that "Promo codes do not apply".
First, more and more $25 certificates began appearing at $15 and $20 prices and now promo codes cannot even be used at some restaurants.
If this trend continues, I see a slow and steady decline of the popularity of this site. The huge entertainment coupon book I got for $15 with mostly 2 for 1 offers is starting to look a lot better now.

Could it possibly be that restaurateurs are FINALLY starting to realize how bad of a deal this concept is for them, and are putting conditions on the offers before they agree to participate?

I know you can get 8% cash back from studentrate. I didn't know about ebates or fallet wallet.
I can't stop buying these gcs. I have like 5 at home I still haven't used. You need to pay attention to the fine print because on some of them you can only use them Sun-Thur and I have one that I can't use in July-August.

I was not able to find any participating restaurants in Kauai. Please advise if there is any other scheme I may take advantage of. I will be in Kauai from June 23 - July 08.
