This thread is for people who properly used this conga line to create a FreeiPod.com account. If you already have a FreeiPod.com account from another source, DO NOT POST YOUR REFERRAL LINK HERE.

From now on, any referral link posts that do not follow the rules below will be ignored.

This is a confirmed way to get your choice of: a 4GB iPod, a 20GB iPod, or a $250 iTunes gift certificate.

Each person listed needs 5 people's help & each of those 5 people will need 5 other people's help to get this.

Basically, this is how it functions.

Post your link, along with the name of the person whose link you used AND THE OFFER COMPLETED, to this thread.
I will add your name and link at the bottom and soon enough, it will be your turn.

The only way this can effectively work is if everyone who is interested in this offer, legitimately does it in order. Once 5 people have posted that they have completed it - Person 1, P2, P3, P4, P5 - the next 5 persons interested should use P1 & then the next 5 use P2 and so on - I realize that this requires an exponential increase for people to get their free iPods, but at the same time, I think it'll work out if some people use their friends & family members.

I'm just wondering if I need to report when I have the 5 referrals on my account, or if the moderator is going to keep track of it. Also, do the users just need to sign up following my link to be eligible, or do they need to actually complete an offer too...currently neither have completed the offer...not that they won't, I'm just wanting a bit of clarification on the procedure. Thanks :)

EDIT: Sorry I skimmed over the person who said they completed the AOL offer. I'm guessing some of the offers don't complete instantly then? I know ancestry.com completed instantly for me, but I'm not sure about the other offers...

Wow. So I have like a bunch of people under the status 'Joined, but offer not completed'. Been like that for days. Almost a week. I used the freeipod site to contact them about it. No response yet. I know some of these people HAD to have completed offers. What the hell is going on. It's getting really irritating. I hope this conga picks up and moves a lil faster, it should, thanks to the new and much improved design by jfe. Kudos. :D. I should really refer people to the site, although spamming my referral link seems more self-helping, hehe. Nah, I'll point people here. If every1 else does the same. Lets get this ball rolling...coz according to my calculations, if everyone on the conga line gets 2 referrals on their own, and only needs 3 from here, that still leaves 450 people that need to join this conga line with a new account on freeipods.com for the last person on this list to get his offers completed. That is of course also assuming that no1 gets their referrals before their turn is up and drops out of the conga...also if no1 replies to the PM's, although it seems most people are...Guestimating about 300 people need to join this conga for us all to be winners. Not that it isn't possible...Pyramids can get pretty large. I've been trying my best to get my referrals other places as well, I suggest you all do the same as this will speed up the process for everyone here and be quicker for yourselves. BTW do NOT spam anything on ipodhacks.com forum, it's really useless @ this point as no1 clicks the links anymore and its really bugging the people who use the forum (i.e., me). Don't beg or give a sad story or make it sound like we've never heard of this before, coz its been posted 9000 times on the site. VP, in the past people have been just assuming that the status will change to completed soon which is good unless the moderator says otherwise. If you have enought referalls to get to a completed status eventually (when all the referalls from flyertalk's status' change to completed), post to the board that you are done. If for some reason one of these referalls flake after a while and the status never changes to completed, report to a moderator and they will add your link back to the top un order for you to complete your referalls. I think this is the best way because it helps others in the community to move the conga forward as fast as possible.

ALSO, I don't know if it is a good idea for everybody to post how many referalls they need left onto the board, that would be 150 unneccesary posts! jfe has them in his pm box so he just needs some time to update (be patient)

i only need 4 more people as of right now. i have a couple people signed up as signed up but offer not completed. been posting my link everywhere on my journal! it helped a lot. so if you're part of some online community, post it! :)
