I guess this puts an official end to the iPod conga on FT. Seems like all FT'ers that wanted to take part in this already have done so.

Yup. It appears that I am a day late and a dollar short.

I confess to being somewhat ticked as I signed on giving my referral to a "new member" and watched many of them complete their program, but now am prevented from being carried along by others.

Truly, jfe, I understand why this is being done and approve. I am now at 3 solid referrals found off FT and am working on the last 2. I am approaching friends asking simply for a favor rather than recruiting them to join in the "chain letter," and so far it looks liked enough folks will be willing to do the favor.

In the end, I wish I had just paid the $299.00!

Could we implement a system similar to the free flat screen thread? Where new applicants can PM the person who is currently on queue to let them know they signed up, which offer they used, and their referral link?

The way the FFS is being handled is the person whose link is being used is who is being emailed and then posting the information. So technically the moderator of the thread is only still updating the list, not receiving all the emails. If the person whos link is being used cant post to the thread at that time an email is being sent to the moderator of the thread.

I thought you took the request as each person would be emailing you, as opposed to just the current referral link 'person' updating you. Sorry for the confusion. Since only people with only 100 posts can post how can you expect them to post their links? Are you open to them emailing the current link person and them either post here (if they can) or email you to update the list?
