Apparently gratis is cracking down on people completing offers and then immediatley cancelling them after they get credit. According to them your account can be placed on hold for this...
An account can be put on hold for several reasons. The most common reason is for speculation of fraudulent activities. Fraud is something we take very seriously and will not tolerate. This may include multiple accounts for the same person or household, completing offers you immediately cancel, or fraudulent referrals. If you think that your account was put on hold mistakenly, feel free to write to us and our staff will investigate the reason your account was placed on hold. And they're not answering any emails that were sent to them before August 3, 2004 @ 2:00pm... |

Does anyone have any info on this website screwup that is happening? If you try to sign up through someone's refferal link, it gives a big error after you type in your email and password.
I wonder if they will still be able to get you credit for those signups. I HOPE SO. |

Dear freeiPods.com user,
Thank you for being an active member of freeiPods.com and for your recent email to our customer support. In the past couple of weeks, we have become an extremely popular site on the internet, and have grown quite dramatically. Unfortunately, however, we have not been able to keep up with our customer email inquiries. Since your original email to us, there is a good chance you may have already found the answer you were looking for. However, you may still need assistance. If you still need to contact our customer service for any reason, simply reply back to this email and let us know if there is something we can help you with. Because your previous email will not be replied to, please include the specifics of that issue when you write in to us. Our customers are very important to us, and to our continued successes. We will do everything to get back to your replies. We are making efforts to improve response times and our customer service department to meet our growing needs. Please be patient and allow us appropriate time to respond to your emails during this very busy time. In summation, your previous email to customer service will not be read or answered, but any replies to this message, or future attempts to contact us via our online form (found via the Faq/Help section of the website) will be answered within 3-7 business days. All previous correspondences to our customer service can be found in the Account section by clicking email correspondence. Here are some common issues our customers have that may help you find the answer you need: I have not received credit for completing an offer. Please make sure that you have waited the amount of time mentioned in the offer instructions for the credit to show up in your account. This can be from a few days to a couple of weeks. Instant offers normally credit immediately, however sometimes an offer may take an additional day or two to credit to your account, please also allow for this additional time. I want to learn more about how your site works. Please read the Terms & Conditions on the site for clarification about exactly how to earn your free items. I want to know the status of my recently placed order. Once an item has shipped, customers usually receive their items within 1-2 weeks, however there is the possibility that it could take up to 4-6 weeks. Please be patient, and only email us after waiting the appropriate time. Why has my account been placed on hold? An account can be put on hold for several reasons. The most common reason is for speculation of fraudulent activities. Fraud is something we take very seriously and will not tolerate. This may include multiple accounts for the same person or household, completing offers you immediately cancel, or fraudulent referrals. If you think that your account was put on hold mistakenly, feel free to write to us and our staff will investigate the reason your account was placed on hold. Again, thank you for your continued interest in our company and website(s). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay in customer service response may have caused you, and please understand we are doing everything we can to improve the way we get back to users' inquiries. Best Regards, Gratis Internet Customer Support NOTE: All communication to us before August 3, 2004 at 2:00PM will not receive an answer from our Customer Service. However, all communications after 2:00PM will be answered within 1-4 business days. |
