Tried the website and it's on hold due to high registration volume.

Got this message today:

Stay Tuned ...

Windows Mobile Training is growing. In the last year more than 20,000 people have registered on the site. Things are getting a little crowded!

So, now its time for us to remodel and make room for such a big audience.

Check back with us again in a couple of weeks. Youll find a new site design, easier navigation, and more features such as current news feeds.

You will be able to register at that time.

Thank you for your patience.

The Windows Mobile Training team

Stuck at 1375 points

Since the "Final Quiz" appears to have vanished does anyone have a "tip" on how to top off the points to at least 1500?

Any and all suggestions will be welcome

Incidentally, how long did it take for your software to arrive after you ordered it? I'm moving from the address I input as a shipping address and haven't received my copy of XP Pro yet - it's been 5 weeks for me, and I signed up before the gold rush of people, so I still hold out hope.

Looks like all the cool stuff is gone (the Cybertool, watch etc...). All they have left is Microsoft stuff...

It tool me about 3 1/2 weeks. I did not post it on here until I was sure it was going to work for me, since I am not in the computer retail business, so I did it about 2 months ago.

I hope this helps

SOftware

Sounds like a hassle. There is a better way to get most microsoft products for 299. You need to sign up in their partner program.

Go to www.windowsmobiletraining.com and register as your own sales person for your own company. Answer some online training for sales people of microsoft products, (helpful tutorials before 5 question tests) and get Free copies of microsoft XP pro, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, a pen you can take on a plane, a swiss army knife you can not take on a plane and some other random goodies. Check back regularly for new tests. ^ ^ ^

From a business perspective (I'm not a business major but anyway... ) they may restrict the ability to earn points above or below a moving target as funds allow. For instance, they may restrict everybody from earning over 1400 points because they are near their quota for dishing out Office or XP. On the other hand, they make it very easy to obtain 2500 points for Office if they are running low on keyboards.

You see, I already ordered the Swiss Army Knife (700, no longer offered) and was waiting for enough points to get the carrying case (1500, no longer offered). I should have just loaded up on pens (400, no longer offered) and been done with it.

Do they come branded with Microsoft's logo or are they brand free?
