E-Rewards Expiration
I did a search & can't find anything on this one
It appears they have changed their point expiration policy to a "member year" format.
Here's what I have seen in my account:
This month, I had $7 expiring in August 2004. I redeemed for HH points this month and expected to see $0 as expiring.
I did a $20 survey 2 weeks ago and just checked my account. I now have $27 expiring in August 2004.
It seems that ALL points will expire this August if they are not used, not just those earned more than a year ago.
I can't redeem for HH again until August and the other rewards are worthless for me. I'm hoping I can get something in before them.
Check your accounts and pay attention to that expiration date as well as how many points are expiring.
IMO, this really stinks. It means that any points I earn this year will have a life of 8 months or less - and since I emptied the account, it's more like a 4 month life
Thoughts?

You could redeem for the Blockbuster reward and gift it or maybe do a swap with someone. That's about the only worthwhile redemption offer, IMO, better than HH points. I have $32. and am hoping to get to $50 for the HH redemption before the expiry date.

There actually was a discussion on this when the change was first made, I promise
Try searching under both e-rewards and erewards. It's around somewhere.
Yes, it sucks. But it's not that bad, especially now that you can top off your account with the 'earn now' options. It just takes a bit more managing.

Thanks for digging that up. For some reason, it wasn't there when I did a search.

Just checked and I had $24.70 set to expire at the end of June. Used Earn Now to do the Allegra thing... no credit card required and $2 posted immediately!
