Well I for one just happen to think they are fine.
When you can get 10K plus AA miles a year just clicking on bunch e-mail links what you do you expect, a BMW?

I find that the AA miles are creditted to the Advantage # inserted when redeeming the award and does not necessarily have to be that of the e-reward account holder. Not sure if it works for different surnames but I have able to get the miles from my wife's account why I fly.

If I were Debo-nair, I would get 4 $50 Hilton rewards over the next year.

Good idea but most likely the points will expire before the end of the year. I have $80 set to expire August 1 and their "90-days between redemptions" policy is going to burn me.

Mine expires June 30,2004. I have done t he $50 H rewards at least 5 times now.

I have never had a problem with redemption options - I just don't seem to accumulate very many e-rewards dollars.

Omaha does have good chicken and fish too. If the e-rewards credit covers anything, consider that.
