UPromise
I don't know if anyone else has posted / listed this, but UPromise.com offer's some incredible deals and rebates (6% at barne's and noble, 2% at walmart, 1% at expedia, etc.)
If your not familiar with the program, the rebates must be applied to either an outstanding student loan, or a 529 account used for saving for college.
This seems like a very good deal, especially if you have outstanding loans.

I have used upromise for years and have raised almost $900 for my kids education. You can transfer it to thier 529 accounts or any other that you want.
If you are in it soley to get the most amount of money out of your transactions, you might be able to get a little bigger rebate at ebates.com or fatwallet.com with some vendors. You have to keep checking.

JSM,
Thanks for the information. I recently consolidated my outstanding student loans and was taken to the page. In the past, it used to only be for 529 accounts; however, the fact that they will use it for student loans is a new one.
