Dell

I'm going to be making around $10,000 in purchases at Dell in the coming months. I know I can get greenpoints, but are there other point/mile earning opportunities that are better? I've got around 265,000 greenpoints already and don't really seem to be 'working' toward any particular award.

If you are purchasing through Dell Home division, access through UA Mall and get 1 MP mile/$. Similar deals for US and NW I recall.

The United or USAir are the best deals.. Valueconsumer seems to be horribly out of date lately.

How flawed is this: I've got around 600,000 miles on US and 400,000 on United. The thought of 10,000 more miles vs. merchandise or gift certs at Greenpoints just doesn't interest me. Especially considering that I've got all my miles with two bankrupt airlines. Maybe I should look at AA or NWA to beef up those accounts.

I'd personally take the $400 and run with it to the bank. 10,000 miles doesn't equal $400 in my book!

I happen to like United. You should email me to talk trade. Otherwise, the rebate seems like an okay idea though I do not know their reputation.

NOT TRUE - That's 4% for Software and Peripherals.....

So unless you are going to buy 10K worth of Monitors you only get the standart rate....
