Says for mail recipients only, but worth a shot.

I did not click on the link but typed in the /50points. Since gapper80 said that it said something about mail recipients only, I think we could be looking at some trouble. I had hoped that I could look at the offer without activating anything by going to the link. That caused it to come up with a screen saying you have gotten 50 points in 30 days pending verification of eligibility. I think this could cause a problem for people like a couple of other special offers did in the past. Since there does not seem to be a link in any of the normal mypoints pages to get to this offer, we might have broken their warning to only get points from email offers and clicking from the website.

Fair warning before alot more of us get in trouble.

I click on the link by mistake and earned the 50 points. I only wanted to see what the offer was, not to actually get the 50 points. I had my points disabled in the past for a similar incident. I recommend to others to not use the link. If enough people use the link, mypoints will close your account for using the link. I recommend to the orginal poster to take the link off. It is a violation of the mypoints rules and they are serious to close your account. It's simply not worth it

Now, I think I'm in a jam. The 50 points are pending instead of immediately posting. I wonder if I have been flagged for investigation.

I actually did get the mailing, and the 50 points are pending for me as well. I wouldn't worry.

Just curious to those of you who also got the mailing:
What was yours for (advertising)?
Yes, I ended that question with "for"... I'm from the south, we can do that here ;-)
