That's it, I'm done, finished, through, over it!

OK, maybe that's a little rough, but I just finished a VERY disapointing visit to the e-Rewards website.

I'm a huge fan of the "better" SPAM sites. MyPoints & e-Rewards were my favorites for at least two years now. But tonight, when I clicked over to e-Rewards, knowing that I have to redeem my $117, imagine my disguist when I found that they've eliminated the Hertz $$ certificates and have switched to a bogus 1 or 2 free day certificate (with a multi-day rental, of course.)

So, I guess I'll reluctantly transfer my e-Rewards to Hilton and say farewell to their once fine program.

I'm tired of being a dedicated participant in these programs, only to find that by the time you've accumulated enough points/$$$ worth anything, they've made them useless and raised the cost, value, etc.

Enough of my rant... I've got a nasty letter to write to e-Rewards.

It may not be anything e-Rewards has control over. It could be all Hertz.

You did see they added bonus AA miles, right? Only good if you fly AA -- some would call that "bogus" AA miles.

Correct, that e-Rewards may not have control over it, but a little warning would have been nice. And yes, if I were flying AA in the next 3 months, it might be worth redeeming for that offer. But WOW the value of e-Rewards seems to be diminishing more and more each time I check their website.
