Miles for Flowers

As Valentines Day is coming up does anyone know of any deals for purchases of flowers? I know FTD.com and 1800flowers.com had deals in the past but I do not have any of the code numbers for their sites. I would prefer miles on Delta or US Air.

Thanks

I think this offer is still available. 30 miles per dollar x .02 per mile is 60% back in miles. And smiles from your sweetie.

I just sent flowers to my aunt (couple weeks ago) who was in the hospital from 1800Flowers and they had a promo code of DAL for 600 miles for the first 29.99 spent and XXX miles per dollar spent after that. The 600 miles have already posted to my Skymiles account, although not the extra miles for the extra dollars. I have no idea if this promo is still going on but it couldn't hurt to call and ask.

edited for an update:

I just spoke to 1800 Flowers and they told me that the shipping fee is not considered part of the amount for mileage credit. In other words, since I spent an extra 25.00 dollars for tax and shipping (she lives in asmall town in WV, quite remote) I would not be getting miles for that, only for the actually cost of the flowers. Buyer beware! You might want to ask about that when you consider who to order from.

Thanks, hackman. That's the best mileage offer for flowers I've ever seen. Usually, I have to settle for 10 miles per dollar. 30 miles per dollar is a bonanza. Lucky for my fiancee (for V-Day) and my mom (for her upcoming B-Day). Romantics everywhere, follow this link!

I need to push my AA account over the threshold for a ticket. Any offers out there for AA flowers?

cbellero,

AA offers miles at 1800flowers.com and ftd.com. If you're an elite AA flyer, then there's some extra miles a both, I believe. There's also bonus miles for AA MC holders as well at 1800flowers.com from what I recall. Take a look at the Retail and Gifts webpage at aa.com linked below.
