Same thing happened last year. As soon as holiday shopping started the servers became incredibly slow.
I was able to shop this weekend at normal speed. I wonder if everyone doesn't do their shopping at work

I clicked on max in books and media but got a pop-up window saying I already got the 5 points for today. Yet I haven't since he hasn't been around. Anyone have an idea why I am getting a message like this instead of the normal congrats message.
Note: Yesterday when i clicked on him he said the same thing and didn't give me points either.

I just got 5 points, but it took a LONG time for screen to come up...maybe 4 minutes (and that is on a usually very quick DSL line.
maybe others have clicked on him more than once without knowing it??? This time the pop up window didn't come up for at least 3 minutes.
