Ratz - I just checked back in and see I missed the window. It appears to me that Max is only doing the extra points once a day, does that sound correct to everyone? So there would be no point in me obsessively checking in every half hour or so to see if there is a new bonus.

I'm pretty sure he is worth 250, 500, and 1000 pts during each of 3 short bonus periods. So, if you missed
the 1000 pts, you'd still have a chance at 250 or 500 if those haven't happened yet.

Has anyone ever seen Max give out the big bonus points more than once a day? I think that this message I received suggests that it is only once a day and for only one of the three bonus levels:
"Sorry! Biblioman, you've already earned this 5-Point award today. If he hasn't already, Max might offer a Bonus Award later today, so check back! If you miss the Bonus Award today, try again when Max appears next. (The Bonus Award is only available for a short time each day Max appears, then he goes back to 5 Points.) "

Biblioman, yes, that seems to be the case -- Max only doles out generously for a quick (10 minute?) window during the day.
Perhaps other experience will show differently, but by all accounts so far, he's only in a holiday mood once a day (and only on weekdays).

I just checked in books/media and was advised that I already got my points today. How can that be, this is the first time I've gone to MP in more than 24 hours.
Any ideas out there?
