Up until now, I've been collecting MyPoints and converting them into HH points but am starting to wonder if other ways would work better. I should mention I've only reached the 1,000 level a few times so it isn't mondo amounts were talking about, mostly because it came only from reading the emails only and not responding to the offers. But thanks to some of the SPAM whizzes, I've found ways to spend next to nothing and get 500 or 1,000 points.

But I'm kinda rambling. Is converting to Marriott Rewards better than to HH, despite the different conversion ratio? Or is opting for the Marriott dollar denominated cheques better?

I know the answers really depend on what type of travel I'm doing and the answer is I travel 3-4 times per year overseas and usually stay at Marriott-brand hotels. I don't have alot, approx 1,500 MR points, in my account as I only recently switched from collecting NW WP miles to MR points.

Any feedback,opinions,suggestions on the topic would be much appreciated.
