Looking for miles for donations

Does anyone know of any charity that is providing bonus American Airlines or Continental Airlines miles in exchange for donations?

Because after all, it IS the thought that counts...

We do it for our two big events each yest, we give American miles if you raise certain levels and choose that over a tee shirt or other prizes. $350 is 1,000 miles (or cycling gloves) up to $5,000 gets you 10,000 miles (or a mountain bike) in the bike event (fall).

We haven't set up the prize structure for our next event (Walks at the beginning of April) yet so we don't know ifd we will be offering the miles again, but should know in another month or so.

And before anybody starts saying that's a real expensive way to get miles, remember it's the donation to charity that counts here first, the miles are our way of saying thanks and pushing you to the next level of donations.

Best part of it - For the Walk and Bike event doesn't have to be your own money, hit your 500 closest friends up for $10 each and you still get the bonus. You can do it all onlien and never have to worry about collecting a check. Of course, only the portion you take out of your wallet is a donatin for you, though many people seem to ignore that.

It's the MS Society in New York, drop me an e-mail if you are interested and I'll let you know once we settle the prize structure for the April event.
